Burton Glendenning, from Bathurst, studied Mechanical Technology at the New Brunswick Institute of Technology, and History at Loyola College, Concordia, and UNB before studying photography at the New Bruswick College of Craft and Design, and at several workshops with Freeman Patterson in New Brunswick and in South Africa, and completed an internship at the National Gallery. As well as student shows at the UNB Faculty Club, Gallery Connexion and the NBCCD, he has exhibited at the Fredericton Public Library, had a solo show, "Fredericton Then and Now", at Government House and the Provincial Archives in 2000, and in 2001 exhibited at the Canadian Rivers Conference in Fredericton, The Moncton Public Library, and for Remembrance Day in Miramichi. |
